The Queen’s Visit: Tuesday 1^st May 2012

Salisbury will welcome the Queen and Prince Phillip as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations on 1^st May. This is a historic event for Salisbury.

Olympic Torch in Salisbury

The Olympic torch relay route through Salisbury has been announced. The torch procession is to pass through the city on July 11 and July 12 as part of the nationwide 70-day celebration which will see the Olympic Flame travelling thousands of miles. It arrives in Salisbury on July 11^th, entering the city at 6.12pm passing along London Road, Churchill Way and Castle Road, up to Hudson’s Field.
